One of our autistic pattern matchers is seeing the awful in absolutely everything, and flooding our system with all sorts of anger, frustration, self-recrimination, and other difficult feelings. And, when we say “everything”, we mean everything, including the sun coming up, blades of grass, brushing our teeth, everything.

This is not a good place to write from.

So, we’re taking some time to help our system member through this, and recenter ourselves.

We don’t know how long this will take, but we will not continue any of our fiction writing until we have resolved this issue.
