So, uh, about those billions of neurons

In “Growth” of Systems’ Out!, Metabang first wrote that the human brain has 5 billion neurons. We don’t know where that number came from, and it’s ridiculously small.

The human brain has a variable number of neurons that averages to 86 billion.

We are in the process of correcting this in all copies of the text. The website has been updated. Obviously books that have already been printed cannot be updated. You may leave them as is, as an historical error, or you may take whiteout to the page and correct it yourself.

This post is just to let you know that we know and that we’re doing something about it.
