Our books as epubs, day 5: CREW

If you’ve read through OUTSIDER of the Sunspot Chronicles, than you’ll want to read this book. It is written by Eh, former Senior Captain of the Sunspot. It gives a perspective on what it’s like to have been a Founding Member of the Crew, and what life was like on its predecessor ship, before and during the revolution that gave birth to the Sunspot.

It’s also very trans, very queer, very neuropunk, and all of that good shit.

You can download it with a donation from our itchio page (with our undying gratitude and newfound ability to buy a portion of a cup of coffee):

Or you can download it directly here, because we’re just that cool:

Either way, we are grateful that you give our book room in your library. Feel free to share it with others!

CREW

You can never stop working to try to make things better.
Sometimes it’s because other people are also always trying to make things better, and you don’t all agree on what’s better.
But, sometimes you live long enough to see that all of your current problems came from you.
Or a past you that you’re not really sure ever was you. But they were.

While trying to assist the Council in navigating the difficult questions of how to abolish Sanctions and emancipate the Tutors, Eh recounts the history of how the Sunspot came to be and ends up exploring a few of the various worlds of the Network. In the process, atrocities are uncovered, an autobiography of sorts gets written, and siblings are reunited after unimaginable ages of separation.

Note: this is the 5th book in the series of the Sunspot Chronicles, but it is OK to read it before we even finish the writing 4th book. The two will be interchangeable in terms of understanding and story continuity. We are numbering them the way we are for subtle artistic reasons.
